A trivector, of heat, thunderstorms, and air quality, is causing weather instability across the country. Extremely hot weather and straight line winds spun tornadoes in the mid-west. Severe thunderstorms are expected to impact people in 15 states and atmospheric haze may cause breathing problems for people in New England.
If you can, stay inside during unsettled weather. If you have to go out, wear lightweight waterproof outer gear because it helps you maintain normal body temperature and keeps you dry.
