This week, Nicole, a rare late-season Category 1 hurricane hit Florida. The last November storm was over 30 years ago. Now, Tropical Depression Nicole is wreaking havoc along the Northeastern Seaboard. The storm made landfall and left three people dead in Orlando.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Depression Nicole could dump between 6 and 8 inches of rain over the next few days from North Carolina up the Eastern shoreline. This could cause flash flooding in urban and rural communities over the next week. The potential for thunderstorms or tornadoes could knock out power in homes and businesses.  Check  Poweroutage.us. for updates.
