As the hurricane season comes to an end in just 10 days, a major weather system is working its way across the country. Forecasters say the weather will impact Thanksgiving holiday travel with rain, snow showers, and hurricane speed winds of 40-50 miles per hour. Gutsy crosswinds will likely cause bumpy flights and airline delays over Thanksgiving week. Meteorologists are expecting cooler weather with temperatures 10-15 degrees lower from the Midwest to Maine. Thanksgiving could feel like Christmas, so enjoy your family and stay safe as the weather moves through your area.

My next Blog will highlight the official end of hurricane season. Be sure to check back – you don’t want to miss next week’s post.
