Recently, a DC based book club invited me to a Zoom session to discuss my book, The Overlooked Voices of Hurricane Katrina Mississippi Black Women Survivors Resilience and Recovery. The event attracted avid readers, authors, and entrepreneurs. I shared aspects of the Hurricane Katrina Mississippi women’s stories of survival and recovery. Also, I read excerpts from the women’s narratives. Attendees asked excellent questions and we had a great discussion. As soon as I get the video link, I’ll upload it so that is it viewable.

Check my Blog next week for more information on the upcoming 2022 Hurricane Season or another tip from my ‘Persevering Thru the Pandemic’ series.
