Recently, a DC based book club invited me to a Zoom session to discuss my book, The Overlooked Voices of Hurricane Katrina Mississippi Black Women Survivors Resilience and Recovery. The event attracted avid readers, authors, and entrepreneurs. I shared aspects of the Hurricane Katrina Mississippi women’s stories of survival and recovery. Also, I read excerpts from the women’s narratives. Attendees asked excellent questions and we had a great discussion. As soon as I get the video link, I’ll upload it so that is it viewable.
