Hurricane Helene is strengthening over the warm Gulf Coast waters and she is already 400 miles wide (that’s 2 two times larger than Hurricane Katrina). Helene is expected to be a Category 3 storm when she makes landfall Thursday evening. Forecasters say Helene will come ashore near Tallahassee (BigBen) Florida and will likely impact several Georgia cities which include Albany, Columbus, Plains, and Macon. The dirty and dangerous side of Hurricane Helene will impact Gainesville Florida.
