This week Hurricane Ian caused catastrophic damage in Florida and the loss of life. Then the remnants of Ian headed toward the South, MidAtlantic, and Eastern corridor coastal communities. Post Tropical Storm Ian was furious with 40+mph winds that spun tornado warnings. Ian’s heavy rain is causing tidal flooding from South Carolina to New York. The system will dissipate over the next few days, but right now Hurricane Ian is the costliest storm of the 2022 Hurricane Season.
