A winter storm is traveling across Thanksgiving Holiday and it will bring colder temperatures. Snow has fallen in Colorado and Minnesota. From the Midwest to the Great Lakes states the system will produce up to 5 inches of rain and blustery winds in St. Louis, Chicago, and Detroit. The windspeed on Thanksgiving Day could get as high as 35 mph across the country and feel chilly. As the storm moves to the Mid-Atlantic then DC, it will rain all day on Thanksgiving but that night. Between 2 to 5 inches of a snowy mix is expected from Pennsylvania to Maine which could become heavy at times.
Travelers should expect flight delays and if you are driving please take your time.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
