Hurricane Helene is on the move and NOW is the time to evacuate if you live in BigBen, Tallahassee, and Gainesville communities because Helene will intensify to a Category 4 storm Thursday.

Forecasters say Helene is a fast moving storm with catastrophic over 85mph winds. Helene is over 250 miles wide and her storm surge will be 15 to 20 feet. The hurricane will produce up to 20 inches of rain and cause wide spread flooding.

Mandatory evacuations are in effect for Floridians inthe path of the storm. Communities, from Cedar Key to Tampa on the right side of the hurricane are especially vulnerable. Authorities say Helene will thrash into metro Atlanta as a Category 1 Hurricane.
