Beryl is expected to regain strength as a Category 1 hurricane when he enters the Gulf, then make landfall in Texas Monday before 12 noon between Corpus Christi and Houston. Beryl’s windspeed is expected to be over 85 mph and could produce up to 10 inches of consistent rainfall throughout the day. If forecasters are right, the dirty side of the storm will impact the Houston area so residents need to prepare for intense downpours and major flooding.
